I just hosted a rare and unusual birthday celebration!

Our masquerade party was a different celebration to highlight a life's milestone! With colors of ruby, onyx and gold, it was an evening of sparkling class!

Our event featured the celebrator's third decade and five, an occasion that is rare and unusual since I typically host 7th, 18th, 40th, 50th and 60th birthdays. As my first time to emcee such an event, we had a great interest in making it something new and more personalized. Having both thoughts in living the "mid-life" part, we wanted to emphasize continuous growth, unfading character, and timeless beauty. So we came up with seven groups, each with five guests/participants that will describe the celebrator along with her likes and interests.

The Waltzes (5 dances) - these dances represent the special gentlemen of our celebrator.

The Makeups (5 cosmetic gifts) - these symbolize our celebrator's timeless beauty.

The Purses (5 bags) - our celebrator loves bags and they create her fashion statement!

The Wardrobes (5 clothing/attires) - of course, whatever she wears should match her bags.

The Scents (5 perfumes) - fun fact, she's a perfumes collector!

The Home Essentials (5 accessories) - living the life, the gifts should be part of her home.

The Toasts (5 wishes) - and yes, we all did a great toast to celebrate her life's milestone!

Thus, multiplying seven groups with five members each, we came up with a total of 35 special guests and gifts which were known as the 35 Presents & Moments. Truly one for the books! And a consideration for those who'd like to celebrate with the same milestone and concept? :)

Along with Chloe Daguio (stylist), Events Diva PH by April Velasco and Team (coordinators), Java Hotel and everyone, we are sincerely grateful to Ms. Fae Shaine Gaile Simeon for making her dream birthday come true with us as her event suppliers. We wish her nothing more than blessings, triumph, prosperity and endless beauty!

So thankful for the hosting experience that I wanted to feature this event and treasure it in my entire career! Indeed, we all say, "Eyyy for Faeee!" ~ #ApplauseNCHeERs
